hi, Thank you for your encouraging words. I can undertstand the cases but Numbers being conjugated is a very tough and strange thing in Russian, there are not many languages with this quality. And anyway, Languages like russian could sound very musical with all these endings, because they make the language more rhythmic, and more beautiful...

Brief to say, a language can be judged for its beauty in various aspects which are: Sound of it, Letters used in its alphabet, Poetry and the literature of it, dialect and accent of it etc. e.g. No offence, but I don't like English spoken by Australians/Indians/ and Cockney or Liverpoo local people and some others but I like English spoken by Londoners. Similarly, I don't like Persian spoken with Azari accent but like it with Tehrani accent. Does it all make sense? |

hello, I can understand you. I myself live in Tehran. I think it is quite natural when you like a language when it is original (and official). The real Persian is actually based on the accent of the capital, it is standardized for foreigners, the mass media use it, the TV, radio, Newspapers are In this fprm. naturally, if you learn Persian, it is more likely that you understand someone from Tehran or someone speaking in that accent. I myself don't like it when someone speaks Persian with some another accent and the people think it's the real Persian, but I warn you it is not.

Can speak & understand English, Persian, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Darri. German, Turkish - sort of working knowledge, I won't be lost or die hungry there. But when it comes to Spanish & French, I just love to hear them, they are really music to my ears but unfortunately can't understand.

Would anyone really get lost or die of hunger if they don't speak the language of the country? I don't think so.
For food, just point to it, pay for it, and you'll stay alive . |
