VOCABULARY ENGLISH/CHINESE Survival sentences in Chinese

Here are some common phrases which may be useful for communication.

English /Chinese

Yes= 是
No= 不
Good morning= 早上好
Good Afternoon= 下午好
Good Evening / good night=晚上好
Thank you= 谢谢
Goodbye =再见
I= 我
We =我们
You(Singular)= 您、你
Mr.=(m)先生, Mrs=(f)女士 , Miss.=小姐
You(Plural)= 你们
They= 他们(m),她们= (f)
How are you? =你好!/最近怎么样?/还好吗?
I don't understand =我不懂

Do you have ... ? =你有....吗?
Could / would you bring me...=请你给我拿个....好吗?
water = 水
(some) sugar= 一些糖
a city map=一张城市地图
a razor= 一个剃刀、刀片
a glass=一只玻璃杯
a piece of paper= 一张纸
a pen/ a pencil= 一支（钢）笔

Does anyone speak ....here?有人说...语吗？
英语Inglês
French= 法语
German= 德语
Spanish= 西班牙语
Chinese= 汉语

How much does this cost?= 这个...多少钱?
Do you accept credit cards?= 你（你们）用信用卡吗?
Have a nice day! =走好、不送了!

Where can I find ....a bus stop? =哪里有巴士站（公共汽车站）？
a taxi stand?=的士站（出租车站）?

I copied your teaching materials and just changed your Portuguese parts with Chinese, because I found your structure is just imaginary and easy to understand.

Must be Bernard who changed my signature,
the Santa Claus (me) now has no white whiskers, and my former green hat now turns to red intervally.
The Santa Claus is much younger, and Coming from China!

yes=是, shi
but doesn't 对, dui, mean the same? and isn't 是 used more as a word 'is' .. like 'house is big' etc..?

Right Wrong
对错
是equals to "be" in English
while 对 as a concent to someone's idea is the same to 是
but you know that 对exactly means right!!!
