before learn classifier, let's grasp what we call things:
家jia1, home 家庭jia1 ting2, family 厨房chu2 fang2, kitchen 饭fan4, meal(s) 孩子hai2 zi, Child, Children 老婆 lao3 po, wife 丈夫zhang4 fu4, husband 妈妈ma1 ma, mama 母亲mu3 qin, mother 爸爸ba3 ba, papa 父亲fu4 qin, father 姐姐jie3 jie, elder sister 妹妹mei4 mei, younger sister 哥哥ge3 ge, elder brother 弟弟di4 di, younger brother 阿姨a1 yi2, aunt, 叔叔shu1 shu, uncle who's younger than your father, for one who's elder than papa, we call伯伯bo1 bo, or 大伯da4 bo1, litterally Big Uncle or Elder Uncle. 车che1, car
自行车zi4 xing2 che1, bike 摩托(车)mo2 tuo4 che1, motorbike 汽车qi4 che1, motor car, vehicle note: to ride a automobile car, we say 乘(verb, plus vehicle to mean travel on bus, car, train, etc.) ; while to ride a bike or other manpower "cars", we use 骑qi2, same as ride a horse(骑马qi1 ma2), we 骑自行车,ride a bike. |

thank you pluipoco, I noticed that you're using numbers in between letters, are they letters that have special pronunciation? like 1 2 3 and 4

hmm thanks! just a one question, how do you make plurars? or do you even use them? you don't say -noun- 们..i guess.
子 is pronounced like ko in japanese. (must be interesting lol)
