Chinese Count Words
Simplex (Complex) Chinese [pinyin]:
辆(輛)[liang4]refers to car or bike with wheels; its left part 车(車) seems like wheels of a car, and that is the very origin of it

Oo I see.. but can you count books or some cups with 个? no?
I've been learning more words now... I'll write a short text. Correct me if I'm wrong..
我是芬兰人。我在芬兰。我不喜欢芬兰的冬天和我喜欢芬兰语。
I'm very unsure about the last sentence :X

一只杯子 a cup
I said 個can be used for nearly every nouns, in fact some times in Chinese we use only number+noun without a count word just in the same case of English,
such as仨杯子which is spoken in the same meaning as 三只杯子
倆褲子in the same meaning as 二(兩)條褲子

Oh I see. In my book it says that you have to use the counter word everytime between number and noun..old rule?
