Famous Finnish poems/vows
I'm American and my best friend is Finnish. She is getting married and wants me to say a few words at her wedding. I would love to know famous/popular Finnish poems or songs or wedding vows translated in English (so taht I can read it) that she would recongise and be surprised over. (I would just ask her about this, but then it would ruin the surprise).
So if anyone can help me or even tell me short & easy Finnish phrases that wouldn't be too hard for me to say that would be wonderful. Thank you. Oh, yes one more thought, is there any traditional Finnish wedding gift that a maid of honor gives to the bride? |
