Question Translating one setence from Finnish to English

Hi, I'm new here and would ask you for some help.
I saw a Finnish sentence on the internet and since my Finnish isn't good enough, I'd appreciate you helping me.

"Sydämeni hyö aini nimeäsi."

I could just figure that it's something like "My heart answers to your name"
or "My heart doesn't answer to a name".

As I think it sounds very nice, I think it'd be a good idea for a tattoo, especially the last one. So if anyone could tell me what "My heart doesn't answer to a name" (if it isn't the one I wrote^^) means in Finnish, I'd be very grateful.

Greetings

There is something wrong with that Finnish sentence of yours. Sydämeni = my heart; nimeäsi = your name; hyö and aini are not real words! Your copypaste machine be broken, mate?

Assuming that hyö and aina should be lyö and aina the sentence would be "My heart allways hits/beats your name". If you want to get poetic you might interpret that to mean that my heartbeats sound like your name..or something. Being a physicist getting all poetic isn't really my cup of tea.

What exactly do you mean by "My heart doesn't answer to a name"? What is the message behind this? I don't want to give a translation unless I really understand what the idea is. And I'm guessing you don't want a word-by-word translation but something more natural and fluent.

First of all, thanks for your answer.

Well, I didn't copy the sentence, I saw it on a picture and the writing was squiggeld, so I guess you're right and acutally it's "lyö". Sorry for that.^^

The message behind the sentence "My heart doesn't answer to a name" is to me, that love does not depend on a name and since I don't like tattoos with names I like the idea of having one that says that my heart doesn't belong to a particular name (or person), that love is more than just a name.
Do you understand how I mean it? It's a bit hard to describe.^^
Could you put that idea somehow in good Finnish?

Greetings

I somewhat get what you mean. Heart belonging/answering to a particular name is a figure of speech I have never heard in Finnish so I'm a bit puzzled with this one. To me saying that your heart doesn't answer to a name sounds a bit cold. Are you getting this to show to a gf or something cos it doesn't sound appropriate for that.

If I may suggest.
Kukaan ei sanele sydämeni tekoja. Nobody dictates the deeds of my heart.

Maybe somebody else would like to come up with something better? Anybody?

Hmm okay maybe it's just not possible in Finish...no its not for a partner or something, just for myself.^^

Thx for the sentence but it kinda sounds a little bit too...fierce ^^
On the other hand...I guess I'll just think it over whether I'm going to get that as
a tattoo since it's a very big step.
But thanks anyway.
