I'm from Australia. I travelled in Romania 6 years ago and I met someone who I've since fallen out of touch with. We always wrote in English, but I received this IM message from her in Romanian. Can anyone translate it?

Când îti vine sa plângi, adu-ti aminte de clipele în care zâmbeai.... când simti ca viata nu are nici un rost gândeste-te la cei ce mai au doar o zi de trait,.... când simti ca vrei sa mori gândeste-te ca altii ar da orice sa traiasca... ... iubeste-ti viata si mai ales prietenii ...... E cel mai de pret lucru..... Este luna internationala a prieteniei ...... Trimite acest mesaj tuturor celor pe care îi consideri prieteni.... Dak nu primesc acest mesaj inapoi probabil ca nu imi esti prieten....Daca nu îl trimiti mai departe, nu se va întâmpla nimic..... Totusi, daca o vei face, CINEVA AR PUTEA SA ZAMBEASCA...asa cum si eu am zambit din nou cand am vazut cati prieteni am!

Este luna internaţională a prieteniei!
Trimite acest mesaj tuturor celor pe care îi consideri prieteni.
Dacă nu primesc acest mesaj înapoi, probabil că nu îmi eşti prieten...
Dacă nu îl trimiţi mai departe, nu se va întâmpla nimic.
Totuşi, dacă o vei face, cineva ar putea să îşi regăsească zîmbetul (să zîmbească din nou),

You are so generous with your explanations and as well you so often offer and explain in detail several different versions, which is very much appreciated. So this is the only reason, I humbly offer a couple of small corrections (and although I am English, I am uncharacteristically not into Schadenfreude)...I would say "It's international friendship month !" ie without the "the", and "if you don't send it further" would more naturally be "if you don't forward it", and lastly I would leave out the "it" and say or write "however if you do" (the "it" is understood - sorry I've forgotten the grammatical term for this !!)

I have much appreciated your help and lessons (and continue to !)

As for "Schadenfreude" ..., daran hätte ich gar nicht gedacht!

Do you mean "redundant" (superfluous) ?
