Can anyone translate the following for me?

Dragul meu,
La Multi Ani pentru J. si sa stii ca am vrut sa-i
scriu personal dar cind ma gindesc ca voi face greseli
de ortografie mi se face rusine. Asa ca pina imi voi
lua inima in dinti, ureaza-i din partea noastra tot
binele din lume, sa fie sanatoasa si sa se bucure de
toti baietii ei. Mai spune-i ca i-am cumparat o pereche
de cercei cu "diimante" dar daca nu-i luati repede o
sa-i port eu, si ma voi gindi la ea. Eu as fi vrut sa-i
poarte ea si sa se gindeasca la mine, dar tu nu ai
binevoit sa mai apari miercuri seara ca sa putem sa ne
despartim ca in telenovele. Va trebui sa conversez
separat cu ea, asa ca intre fete. Oricum, te rog sa o
saruti din partea mea si sa-i spui ca vreau tare mult
sa fim prietene.
Pentru tine, dragul meu, vreau sa fiu prima care sa-ti
ureze La Multi Ani si nu mai este nevoie sa-ti spun
cit tinem la tine si ca)intradevar te consideram mai
mult decit iti poti imagina. Sunt chiar furioasa ca
este o distanta atit de mare intre noi...din partea
noastra sa fii insa sigur ca asta nu va diminua
sentimentele. Sa stii ca de cind ai plecat facem ce
facem si vorbim despre tine, si stii ma C., m-am
simtit ca acum 15 ani. Doamne, ce bine a fost.
Devin melancolica, asa ca va trebui sa ma opresc.
Am inceput deja actiunea pentru cautarea unei fete. Nu
va fii usor, pentru ca cele care stiu atit de bine
engleza incit sa ia examenul, sunt instarite. Copiii
mai amariti nu au posibilitatea sa invete engleza
acasa asa ca nu stiu perfect. Mi-a venit ideea sa o
intreb pe profesoara de engleza a lui S. de la
scoala sa vad ce ideee imi da. Eu nu ma dau batuta
oricum. Este o mare oportunitate si poate gasim pe
cineva norocos sa profite de ea.
Nu as vrea sa te plictisesc cu scrisori prea lungi,
asa ca inca o data va urez La Multi Ani, sa fiti
sanatosi, si sa va bucurati de copii, si eie de voi.

"My dear,

Happy birthday* to J. and I want you to know I intended to write a letter to her myself but when I think of the spelling mistakes I make I feel ashamed. So until I take heart wish her, on our behalf, all the best, good health and joy alongside her boys. Also, tell her I got her a pair of "diamond" ear rings but if you don't take them quickly I'll be wearing them myself while thinking of her. I would have liked her to wear them and think of me but you didn't show up anymore last Wednesday night so that we could have said goodbye "soap-opera-style".
I'll have to have a private talk with her, like girls do. Anyway, please give her a big kiss for me and tell her I want to be friends with her.

For you my dear, I want to be the first to wish you Happy Birthday and I don't think I need to mention how much we care for you and that you mean to us more than you can imagine. I'm actually mad there is such a great distance inbetween us but, as far as we are concerned, rest assured that won't affect our feelings. You should know that ever since you left your name keeps coming up in our converstions over and over again and you know what C., I felt like I did 15 years ago. God, it was good!. I'm getting melancholic so I will have to stop.
I'm already trying to find a girl. It won't be easy since those who know English
well enough to pass the exam are pretty well-off. The more pauper ones can't afford learning English so their knowledge level in English is not satisfactory. I thought about asking S's English teacher and see what ideas she can come up with. I'm not giving up anyway. It's a great opportunity and maybe we can find someone lucky to improve the occasion.
I wouldn't want to become boring with these long letters so, once again, I wish you Happy Birthday*, good health and enjoy your children and vice versa.

*I need to mention that "La Multi Ani" is apropriate both for birthdays and for the New Year's Eve so you'll have to figure out for yourself wheather it's "Happy Birthday" or "Happy New Year".
