tranlation for call to romania

Hi, I want to call to a friend in Romania and she speaks english, but her parents don't. So how do I ask for her in romanian?

Hi,

You should first say Hello. Choose from:

Buna dimineata (good morning)
Buna ziua (good afternoon)
Buna seara (good evening)

Then you could say something like:

As dori sa vorbesc cu XXX(your friend's name). Se poate?

I would like to speak with XXX. Is it possible?

If you have other ideas in mind, just ask me.

The reply, if you are lucky, will be a simple one. Either Da (yes) or Nu (no). Some explanation is also probable to follow the short answer. Such as

Cine il cauta? Who's asking for him?

But don't worry! Call until the person says "Da".
