I need some help translating Roman to english

I believe this is roman. when i tried to find it's meaning all i would come up with was roman texts with those words in it.

"en ducit mundum per luce"

It is a mixture of Latin and Italian. I propose the translation:

It is the road towards the light.

interesting. you don't see that everyday on a rock bands logo that looks like a masonic symbol
