Yes, Xpsal, it is very close to the Spanish language.
When Brazilian people listen to Spanish speakers, specially those ones from americas all of us can understand most things. Problem is to speak, it needs study of course as any language, because of the grammar: verbs, conjugation etc.. Hugs for you my friend ![]() |

yeah you're right, I work with a brazilian and he seems to speak spanish with no problem, he is from Rio de Janero.

Yes, If a Brazilian studies the Spanish language it`ll become very simple for him.
I studied it for about a year but I stopped it and I have not practing it anymore. What happens to me is, I can read it well, I have a good pronunciation but I cannot talk or make sentences because of its grammar. I speak Italian and I usually mix it in Spanish lol lol... Did you know that South and Central America countries which have a different Spanish from Spain are called CASTELHANO in Brazil and among those countries? In Spanish is Castellano I guess lol. I studied Castelhano ( from Argentina) and Spanish from Spain. ![]() |
