Default Os 20 Verbos Irregulares

Alguns verbos da língua portuguesa apresentam tantas irregularidades na sua conjugação, que tiveram de ser programados à parte, com regras especiais, as quais ocupam quase metade de todo o programa. Eles são exatamente vinte. A maior parte corresponde aos verbos mais básicos e freqüentes da língua. =

Some verbs in Portuguese have so many irregularities in their conjugations,
that special rules had to be done, aside from the other verbs, and which occupy the half part of all program. Most part of them corresponds to the most common and often verbs of the langauge.

there are some words I didn't understand much, tiveram, à parte (what's it?, a French phrase?), quais (another pronoun?), quase (adj.?), and vinte (is it living?)
Please answer for me ONLY.

à parte = aside, separated from the others

In the context means that some verbs are so irregular, that they had to be programmed, done aside, alone different from the others.
