OUR LAST CONJUGATION... IR
REMEMBER... IR = O, ES, E, IMOS, IS, EM partO = TO LEAVE partES partE partIMOS partIS partEM ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TAKE "IR" OFF AND ADD THOSE ENDINGS ABOVE. LET`S SEE SOME VERBS I WHICH YOU CAN REPLACE THEM.. repartir= to share, to devide dividir = to devide incluir = to include imprimir = to print discutir = to argue *( discuss in english for us is a false cognate = brigar (to fight) in portuguese) expandir = to expand admitir = admit permitir = to permit I tried to use the regular ones IN THE PRESENT TENSE- in the 4 parts about verbs, but remember I am not a Portuguese teacher lol , so, some of them can be irregular in other tenses, like past, perfect etc..Ok?// ![]() Last edited by Nana_Brazil; 02-18-2005 at 07:27 PM. |
