ahahahhh .....yes yes..lol Sometimes we cut words and sentences just like North American people do lol lol...
Even a Brazilian can deny....our people is kinda lazy.. lol specially the Cariocas and Baianos ( those from Rio and Bahia). Paulistas ( people from São Paulo) make jokes to Baianos immitating their slow way of talking..lol.. + the strong accent , course in a good sense...lol . São Paulo is a bit different; people here are hard workers (heheh) PUXANDO A SARDINHA PARA OS PAULISTAS .. (slang which means.. bringing the sardines to us = making us better than the others lol) ..I guess it is the inheritance of the Italians, Japanese, Arabs, Jews, etc.. we have as well as their example, because the immigration of these foreigners here is bigger. By the way my Moroccan friend.. you have been improving your Portuguese !! Good job!! I am proud of you!!! Last edited by Nana_Brazil; 02-20-2005 at 01:02 PM. |

Thanks thanks...Hope that I will be a good student :-)
I have a question: I know that carioca is used for both men and women, I accept that althought that doesn't make sense to me...I called a male a carioco lol...See?? For me the "a" ending is to express a female word, and then "o" must be applied for carioca in order to make it male!! Well, but I know that in portuguese some rules are weird!! So, what about baiano and paulista?? Is it the same? I mean, do they keep the same from? Or they change with genders? |
