tomar sorvete, yogurt, remédio, sopa = to eat ice cream, yogurt, medicine, soup

mascar chicletes or goma de mascar = chew gum


pegar or tomar um ônibus = to get or take a bus

faltar à , perder aula = to miss the class

assistir `a aula, televisão, uma partida ( jogo )= to attend class, to watch tv, to see a match (game)
