Well, there are serveral farewell ways in brazilian portuguese, several of them are slangs:

Tchau = bye
Tchauzinho = little bye
Adeus = good bye
Até logo = See you soon
Até amanhã = See you tomorrow
Passe bem / passar bem = have a nice day
Fique com Deus = Stay with god (literally)
Tudo de bom = Good wishes
A gente se fala = talk to you soon
A gente se encontra = meet you soon
falou = you talked
fui = I'm gone

Default language

Mastering a foreign language today is very important. Many people are studying some other language except their mother tongue. I also want to learn foreign language very much. Especially want to learn English, Sprachaufenthalte or Italian. But I have no idea which to learn easily or convenient. So I hope someone can give me some suggestions. Any help would be much appreciated!

i have a question about pronounciation. how do I know when to pronounce D's like G's? do i just have to learn the words and figure it out or is there a rule? like bom dia... pronouced bom gia... but then there is like devagar and the D is said like a D. this confuses me most

thanks
shannon
