Bom dia Klowj
Tudo bem?

Fazer figas = I keep my fingers crossed

As for dictionaries on-line:
Online dictionary service in English, Spanish, German and other languages by Collins Lexibase
Ultralingua - English to German, Italian, Spanish, and French Online Dictionary
Portuguese dictionary
Ectaco Online Dictionary. Free English-Foreign-English translation system

I wouldn't give 100 % reliability to any of them but they are relatively helpful. I often just put a word in google search and make the meaning up from the context

Hi Katee,
I thought of you earlier this week. I saw to Portuguese from Brazil at my job, and we spoke about PT language. He told me people from Portugal were hard to understand because they were eating their vowels. Then, I remember you told me not to pronounce my vowels and I would make a perfect PT, I thought you probably study with someone from Portugal. Am I wrong??
Boa noite!!

Olaaaa Klowj,

Hehe, great reasoning My teacher of PT is Brasilian as it's very hard to find a Portuguese living in Poland! (why? ask Arehdel, maybe)
However, I have lots of colleagues at work (and friends also) from Portugal, so on a basic level, I use Portuguese from PT but I'm sure I mix those 2 dialects.

When I started learning Portuguese, I had no idea about the difference between those 2. I just remember that I was surprised when didn't hear any 'sh' at the end of words
But, as said, I didn't, and still don't, have a choice, have to stay with o Brasileiro. If you do, Klowj, look for a real Portuguese!

Kisses from Krakow,
katee

Well, whatever it will be I might take a Portuguese course at university in two years. But yet, I'm not fixed on the next language I want to learn. I need to learn morocan's arabic because I'll sometimes go to Morocco next year. After that, I'm interested in portuguese, latin, hebrew, deutch...

Greatings from Quebec!!
