I'm not sure how to participate in the forum, but I'd delighted if any of you Brazilian translators to help me with the English version of the great song by Adelino Moreira/Enzo de Almeida Passos. Here's the song and then my attempt. There's a few words that have so many potential meanings, apologies if it sounds absurb. Thanks in advance.

I know the last line is eslewhere translated as "heart explodes", which is probably better, but I'm trying not to be a copiest . I hope I haven't taken too many liberties of such a beautiful song. I will be happy to be corrected
