Hi everyone!
Could you please help me with this translation sentences: "Don´t wait till the bubble´s off the wine. Marry them before Lent." This is one of the subtitles from The Age of Innocence and one of the sentences referred in the book. I have translate it to: "Não fique à espera de abrir a garrafa de champanhe/vinho. Casem-se antes de Lent." Could you please tell me if my translation is correct enough or give me another suggestion more closer to the sense of the phrase? Thank you for all help that you can give!
'til=until off=out of É só questão de interpretação.
