Hi all. I'm beginner in Turkish.
Could anyone tell me how to find the difference between lar and ler when I want to make the word plural. For ex: kitap= kitaplar kűçűk= kűçűkler What is the difference? Another thing I'd like to ask about it that Turkish writing. Will I have to start by the capital letter? Or how to write in Turkish?

you should start with the capital letter only at the beginning of a sentence.
with a word that has one of (e,i,ö,ü) letters in the last syllable, you should use -ler. with a word that has one of (a,ı,u,o)letters in the last syllable, you should use -lar. examples: kediler (kedi=cat, kediler=cats) kitaplar sevgiler ağaçlar etc. |
