It's Arabic
![]() I am so proud of myself, I have just worked my possesive prunouns in Turkish, and revised yesterday's homework, let me show you in brief... (No chetaing wallahi we bellahi That's how you swear in Turkey!!)Possesive prunouns first : Benim Senin Onun Bizim Sizin Onlarin Now with money :D Param Paran Parasi paramiz Paraniz Paralari (I hope that I didn't make any mistake!!) I have noticed something, for our money we had the suffix "miz", and for "yours" it ends with "zim", huh?? That's no coincidence right? Same with your money paraniz, and yours sizin, niz and zin ![]() Hey, I wanted to know the exact meaning of Aman rabbi lahim, I guess it should be "rahim", but it's said as lahim right? Is it for being suprised, or irritated? Have a goooooooood day! |

weel, if your mother tongue is Arabic then it's gonna help u a lot! especially for the vocabulary. as u know there are thousands of words in Turkish that come from Arabic.
as to the pronunciation, u shouldn't have any problem with it... but if u have any particular question just ask me. for the zim /miz thing, I guess u're right... never any coincidence! for the ex, u did a good job again! what can I say! Tebrikler! i've never heard "Aman rabbi lahim".... are u sure that it's not rather "Aman Rabbim!" (=Oh my Lord!) or maybe it was Rabbilalemin (Lord of the worlds) or Rabbirrahim (the Most Gracious Lord) Anuway, what would be much more common to say is "Aman Allahim!" used in the same circumstances as in French or English.

That's it then, I mixed the 2 (shy)
Well, Aman Rabbim sounds logic with oh my lord, as it has the "m" in the end which expresses possesion!! Well, I mean Allahim for sure :D...All what you said else is Arabic, so problem yok with it :D What is tebrikler then?? Is it like ma sha Allah? Like : God bless you? |

(I didn't get a notification for this reply, and this web site sometimes doesn't work at all).
Tesekkur ederim for the explanation teacher ![]() I could have linked it with "mabrook" that's used to congratulate in Arabic. If I am learning new things, it's because I enjoy the lessons as they seem to be so clear :-) Happy new year.. Esma (Turkish spelling :D) |
