Hi,

I am getting a few new tattoos, and I want the text in Cyrillic as Moscow holds a high spot in my heart after travelling there

'Death before dishonour' is the text I would like translated

Also getting another

'Only God can judge me' also translated.

'Death before dishonour' = "Ñìåðòü ïåðåä áåñ÷åñòèåì"
'Only God can judge me' = "Òîëüêî Áîã ìîæåò ñóäèòü ìåíÿ"

Does the first text has a meaning "I will better die rather than live dishonoured" ? If it is so, then perhaps it will be better to say "Ñìåðòü ïðåæäå áåñ÷åñòèÿ" (=death before dishonour). It sounds like a motto, so the word "ïðåæäå", which has got some solemn nuance seems to be more suitable than ordinary "ïåðåä". It's just my opinion.

If you mean that you cannot see what Arthur and catlovesjam have written you should change the encoding in your browser Firefox or Internet Explorer. Go to View. Click on Encoding-> More-> Cyrillic Windows. Click on Windows-1251.
