Some phrases in English
Hi, here are some phrases which were translated from Russian into English. But I'm not sure if the translation is good enough.
I hope that some native speaker would read it and say one's own opinion: The Irish Republican Army has announced complete decommissioning. Thus it has put an end to the IRA armed campaign for the unification of Ireland, which had lasted for 36 years. |

Hi Katyafiona,
This is a good translation  . Obviously I have not read the original but I would suggest a few minor tweakings so that it reads more naturally:The Irish Republican Army has announced that its decommissioning is now complete, thus putting an end to its 36-year armed campaign for a unified Ireland.
