Est-ce que cette phrase est correcte ? Notre Dame statue was erected by the Montreuil inhabitants, after WWW 2, because the town was spared the arial bombing. Thx  Régis |

Presque! Mais je l'ecrirais au facon suivant:
The Notre Dame statue was erected by the inhabitants of Montreuil after WW II because the town was spared the aerial bombing. Pour la rendre plus claire, je dirais "to give thanks that the town... etc. C'est le vrai sens de cette phrase, n'est-ce-pas? Qu'ils ont construit cette statue pour expresser leur gratitude? |
