Hi! How're u? Someone could help me to correct this text please? thank you very much!
It is very important consider our own opinion in our learning. We are constantly learning and we use many resources to learn but if we expect to know about some issue, it is not enough reading without being critical. Learning is not only beliveving all what the speaker or the text says but we should take into account our own opinion and be reflective. In order to be critical and reflective it is very important to take into account that the meaning of a text or utterance is not independent from the context. Sometimes, the ideas we read or listen are really influenced by cultural, political, and historical, among others contexts and we should connect our knowledge to others. Another way to be a good critical is considering more than one source or view of the argument; this means that reading more than one text about the same issue is much better than to read only one. As I said each text has several influences which may avoid talking about a topic objectively. Doing this, people would be able to figure out the purpose of the text because in many cases they are not neutral. We cannot forget that every text may represent particular views depending on the influences. For all these reasons, it is very important teach our students to read, listen and learn in a critical and reflective way; this is the only way to understand the meaning of the text and to learn properly. To teach our students to be critical and reflective is very important allow them to have a position on topics worked in class. Therefore, educator should allow learners to construct their own answers and their own thoughts. To get this, it is very important to consider and clarify students’ attitudes and values and, it has even more relevance to see and present things from different points of view. As I commented before, everybody should ask what is presented to them as absolutely true but students have to be taught to do this. A good teacher must promote this critical thinking to avoid the establishment of judgemental environments for learning and make relations between universal and limited contexts. Sometimes teachers present an idea thinking of this as the right one and the students belive them blindly but although the idea was correct, learners should try to think about the idea and discuss it. In conclusion, and taking into account all what I have commented, I would like to stress the importance of being aware of the political responsabilities teachers have as educators. If teacher do not think independently, learners cannot be taught to do the same. Thus, it has a lot of relevance that educators learn to read and listen in a critical and reflective way to be able to help student to do the same. |

Holaaaa!!

Muchas gracias => De nada. ![]() |
