Sans vouloir être trop pointilleux, en anglais on dirait "should that come to pass" (et non "comes"). Je n'ai pas de meilleure suggestion pour la traduction !!

C'est correct, mais je pense que ce n'est pas le bon registre (should that come to pass a des allusions bibliques aussi et reste un peu littéraire et fléuri !). J'ai l'impression que le contexte est plutôt professionnel donc je dirais "...any direct process should that situation arise".
