Bonjour et bienvenue sur le site.
1) They have been waiting for the rain to stop for a quarter of an hour.OK 2) We have been saving a little money for several months.OK 2) We must have had these furniture for five years.<(present perfect) 4) They have been able to speak Italian since their childhood/they were kids. They were used to live in Italy. (majuscule aux adjectifs et noms de nationalités et noms de pays) 5) Our neighbour's house <were rob> has been burgled several times.<(pas d’indication de temps = present perfect) 6) We’ve finally managed to persuade him to come with us. How did you set about it? 7) They worked abroad for 10 <ans> years.<(tu ne peux pas te relire ?) 8) They had been back home for a long time. 9) They <were searched> had been looking for an apartment for months. 10) How <many times> long <did he> have you known the truth for? 11) How long did he have to stay in bed for? 12) It was the first time that <their> his/her grandparents took the plane/flew. 13) He had been working in the factory for more than twenty years when it shut down. 14) How many times have you been told <to> not to shout! 15) They didn't come to visit us since we’ve been living here. * Il semble que tu aies encore quelques soucis avec les temps. ![]() |

A few more suggestions:
2 ces meubles = this furniture (le mot 'furniture' n'est jamais au pluriel). 6 "how did you go about it?" is also common. 10 "for" is often omitted in this type of question. 15 "they haven't come to visit us" - present perfect is better here. [A mon avis l'usage du préterit dans ce type de phrase est un américanisme voire un barbarisme]. |
