Quote:
At first it’s important to remember that except capture pictures process, which is make by a sensor system on digital cameras or light exposure on the others, any component like zoom, design are almost similar on both.
The main difference between them is, of course, pictures storage. The traditional cameras print pictures on a film that you need to develop later if you want have paper pictures whereas digital devices which store picture on a small storage card where you can put more than three hundred pictures. Thanks to this system, pictures can be easily saved on a computer and they can be manage immediately on device if you want delete or rotate it. For me it’s really this which has made success of digital photography.
At a performance point of view, if you take the best traditional cameras you will have more beautiful pictures than digital cameras. It can be an asset for users who need high quality.
In few years, with digital cameras development which will permits us to have perfect photos like traditional photography, I think these last one will disappeared on the market or will stay on a really small quantity.
Merci à toutes les personnes qui aident sur ce forum très utile, et permettant d'avancer !

Bonne soirée

It’s important to remember that other than the capture pictures process, which is made by a sensor system on digital cameras and by light exposure on other types of camera, the design of any component like zoom is almost the same on both. The main difference between them is, of course, picture storage. The traditional cameras print pictures on a film which needs to be developed later if you want have paper pictures, whereas digital devices store pictures on a small storage card which can hold more than three hundred pictures. Thanks to this system, pictures can be easily saved on a computer and from there immediately altered or deleted. For me it’s really this which has made a success of digital photography.
From a performance point of view, if you use the best traditional cameras you will have more beautiful pictures than with a digital camera and are better suited for users who need high quality pictures.
In a few years, digital camera development will permit us to have perfect photos like traditional photography, which I think will disappear from the market or will continue to exist only in very small quantities.

Hope this helps..........
