Smile Translation..

Hello,
Merry christmas to everybody, and I thank the forum for his best wishes.

Merci. Voici l'email:

Hi,

A part ça?
Love, Marie.

Bonjour Marie,

Ravi de te retrouver ici.
=> Merry Christmas(majuscule) to everybody. Thank you the forum for your best wishes.(en fait, dans tout forum, il y a des personnes)
=> Pour un pain, des pains tu peux employer le nom a loaf of bread (pluriel loaves of bread). Une tranche de pain = a slice of bread.

Hi,

We went out yesterday night, rather late I must say. It was the first time we went into a non-smoking bar and restaurant! The law against smoking in bars and restaurants was passed and had already been enforced in some public places.
Our friends and relatives are very happy they can offer their children a grenadine without their breathing smoke. Besides some of their children have breathing problems. The law is welcome for them.
In the south of France some people resist the ban. In Lyon, a man was caught red-handed and had to pay a 68 € fine while the landlord was fined 135 €. But he intends to resist and will pay both his customer's fine and his own. In Paris and Le Havre, wrapped up smokers can be seen outside bars looking for their fags.
Apart from that, what else? Well we heard that the father of a friend of ours had died on December 26th, so we help him overcome his father's death. He is staying with us for the weekend and we'll go out together. Don't worry, the atmosphere isn't gloomy at all. Since the beginning of december he has started a mourning therapy, he's been monitored particularly well and is relieved.
How about you? Are you getting ready? Are you? I wish you a very nice trip. Enjoy yourselves!
Love,
Marie

Bonjour JB,
Marie.
