People became more tolerant than before. Indeed, with inter alia the world war 2, its cruel practices and racists under Hitler; a great part among us realized of the abominable horror which racism could entrainer. So many removed lives, so much families (déssimées) only because some were Jewish, black, mentally handicapped person etc... killed like animals under infamous conditions! However, although qu'il y eu une véritable prise de conscience such horreurs, still too among us, without same sometimes seeing us, are not tolerant and show racism. For example when we meet a badly conspicuous person in a bus, or then a handicapped person in the street, the majority among we let us hesitate to sit us beside him or we will look at it fixedly because he is known as "different"! But which real difference is there? Recently, with the presidential elections, we could see that many French had allowed Jean Marie Lepen passer au second tour whereas it was against immigration in our country. He didn't want that too many foreigners stay un our territory. (At the current time,) we thought that it would not be heard by French, but we were mistaken à la surprise générale showing that actually many people were not tolerant! Time still didn't make everyone equal to the eyes of the ones and others. There will remain always certain about it which will make differences and it will be them which by their lack of tolerance (there isn't or just few massacres, therefore it acts of a difference much less (visible), but which is based on the same thing) will be at the origin of futurs conflicts. ![]() Pourriez vous m'aider ?Merci d'avance ![]() |

People have become more tolerant than before. Indeed, because of World War II, among other things, and in particular the cruel and racist atrocities under Hitler; many of us realized the abominable horror that racism could lead to.
So many lost lives, so many shattered families slaughtered like animals in horrible ways, just because certain ones happened to be Jewish, black, mentally handicapped, or whatever! However, even though such atrocities have awakened our collective conscience, there are still too many among us who are not tolerant and show racism, even though sometimes we may not realize it. For example, when we meet a person on a bus who is conspicuous in some unattractive way, or a handicapped person in the street, the majority of us will hesitate to sit next to that person, or we will stare at him because he is supposedly different! But in reality, what is the difference? Recently, in the presidential elections, we observed that many French people elected Jean Marie Lepen to a second term, even though he was against immigration to our country. He didn't want so many foreigners in our territory. In modern times, we would have thought that this would have been unheard of for the French; however, we were fooled by this unexpected turn of events, showing that actually many people were not tolerant! Time still hasn’t made everyone equal in each other’s eyes. There will always be those who perceive differences, and it is they who, through their lack of tolerance (there won’t be any or as many massacres, thus we are talking about a difference that is much less visible, but still based on the same thing), will be the cause of future conflicts. |
