A plan of action about European maritime policy has been presented wednesday by the European Commision. During this event, Polish fishermen have been venting their wrath against the prohibition of cod fishing. They have been demonstrating in front of the European comission in Warsaw, against the EU quota for the Baltic Sea, that has been recently exhausted.

In the field of European maritime policy, Joe Borg, an European commissioner, has declared that it is a very important necessity. As a matter of fact, there is a lot of pollution in the waters of member states. Besides, plenty of illegal activities such as drug traffic and clandestine immigration concern the european waters.

Un plan d’action à propos de la politique maritime européenne a été présenté mercredi par la commission européenne. A cette occasion, les pêcheurs polonais ont été exalter leur colère contre l’interdiction de pêcher du cabillaud. Ils ont été manifester en face de la commission européenne à Varsovie, contre le quota européen en mer Baltique, qui a été récemment expiré.

Dans le domaine de la politique maritime européenne, Joe Borg, un commissaire européen, a déclaré que c’est une nécessité très importante. En fait, il y a beaucoup de pollution dans les eaux des états membres. En plus, de nombreuses activités illégales tel que le trafic de drogue et l’immigration clandestine concernent les eaux européennes.
