Hi there!
I have just one little question: Can anyone explain to me what is meant by the term "He´s a "meat-and-potatoes" guy"? I think it´s a term from the american culture but I´m not sure. Please help me! |

Not American, I would say it is English.
To me it means he is a traditional man who does not like to vary from what he is used to. Many older men in the UK (and possibly America too) insist on having meat and potatoes with every meal other than breakfast. |
