Framboise is a splendid one to behold
Framboise is a splendid one to behold Framboise is a splendid one to behold Framboise is a splendid one to behold ![]() |
It depends on the verb:
a. to be + adjective: A is perpendicular + to B b. other verbs such as: locate, intersect, pass smth + adverb: perpendicularly to In this case perpendicularly indicates the position of A to B. c. If perpendicularly is followed by the preposition from, it will not necessarily mean that "from" is related to "perpendicularly", but it is rather related to the verb used in that sentence. e.g. extending, projecting, removing something perpendicularly from something else or from somewhere. In this case, perpendicularly indicates the manner in which something is done. "Fibrous structure does not always extend perpendicularly from bone." |

You are welcome!
![]() "A" varies throughout the area in two directions: both in an axial direction and perpendicularly to the axis This is doubly correct ! 1. because 'to' is the usual preposition for 'perpendicular', and 2. because of ' varying in two directions' (direction + to) |
