Hi Sarah ! I have just come back from holidays. I went to San Francisco, in the USA. It was exceptionnel ! What ? Have you never heard talking about this City ?! Well, it's the fourth most important city of (the ?) California, afer Los Angeles, San Diego and San Jose. Merci d'avance !

![]() Hey Sarah! I just got back from hollidays! I went to the United States, in San Fransisco! That was marvellous! What? You never heard of this town?! Well, it is the fourth most sized city in California, after Los Angeles, San Diego and San José. It is located in San Fransisco Bay. It turns to the Pacific ocean through the Golden Gate strait. I looked for some info about its history, let me tell you... it has been created during the 18th century and developped thanks to the gold rush in 1850. Did you know a huge earthquake and a blaze happened in 1906. Look I have a picture of the town hall, such a desaster! There has been many earthquakes because the city is located next to San Andreas and Hayward fractures. The United Nation charter has been written out in this town as well! San Fransisco is a really interesting city! Moreover it is full of museums! I visited the California Academy of Sciences. The museum of natural history, the exploratorium, and the museum of physical sciences! Unfortunately I was not able to go to the musuem of asian arts...

Merci beaucoup. Mais je ne comprends pas. Just et never sont obligatoirement utilisés avec le present perfect.
"I just got back from holidays!" "You never heard of this town?!" Il n'y a pas de have. :s Explique moi STP. Voici la suite, tu pourrais me corriger STP ? ...(J'aurai tant aimé ! Je ne sais pas le traduire.) You must have known San Francisco is a city with multicultures. I went round in Chinatown and Japantown, there where asiatic population are gathered. It is high, isn't it ? Then I had the opportunity to go to North Beach where we can see a mojority of italians. This town is also composed of important vietnamese population in the Tenderloin district. The Philippines are in the Crocker-Amazon and South of Market areas. On the other hand, I avoided Bayview and Excelsior because the rate of criminality is here very high. These districts shelter poor people. And do you know Mission area ? No ? It is the oldest part of the city ! Here is the Mission Dolores. It is around this building what the neighborhood was built. It exists Haight Asbury too. It is the epicentre of hippy counterculture of the 60's. The quarter of Castro is renowned for its great concentration of homosexuals. Ah ! This picture was taken in the large green space, the Golden Gare Park. I also saw Golden Gate Bridge, you know, the link which joins San Francisco and the Marin county ! It is huge ! If you visit San Francisco one of these days, you will be able to notice very beautiful residences of 'style victorienne' and the cable cars. There are the famous tramways, they are symbolic.Besides one of them brought me to Telegraph Hill to observe Coit Tower. It is very impressive ! San Francisco is an important financial and bank center. Lots of banks are present here. And we say me they made enormous business with numerous companies of Silicon Valley. So, if you go to the United States, go visiting San Francisco, you will adore ! 'Ca vaut le coup ' ! Multiple monument are to see and a lot of activities are praticable. You will be enjoyed ! You will send a lovely postcard ! |

In speaking I think that FD's translation is correct, but maybe in writing it's better using "I've just came back" and "You've never heard".
