Hello All,
Could anyone translate the following food terms into French? Thanks!! - Herbal Gelatin - Fruit Flavor - Lemon Flavor - Chill before serving - Amber Herbal Jelly - Jade Herbal Jelly (the words "Amber" and "Jade" are just a more artistic way of describing the color of the jellies, which as you probably guessed are yellow and green in color ![]() Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.. |

Hi Dragonboy
Here goes your translation: - Herbal Gelatin - gélatine à base d'herbes - Fruit Flavor - parfumé au fruits/parfumée au fruits/goût de fruits - Lemon Flavor - parfumé au citron/parfumée au citron/goût citron - Chill before serving - Servire froid - Amber Herbal Jelly - Gelée aux herbes couleur ambre - Jade Herbal Jelly - Gelée aux herbes couleur de jade I gave you many possibilities for the 2ns and 3rd translations. The word parfumé/parfumée depends on whether the meal you are talking about is feminin or masculin. You cannot guess it, the best way to do if you want to use these expressions is to tell me what's the meal, I will tell you what to use. Else you can use the last expression (goût...) which does not need anything to be changed with masculin or feminin things. |

Hello FD,
Thank you very much for your help! The Lemon and fruit flavors are used in my jellies, which are suitable for both boys and girls.. They are basically desserts or can be served as a light snack.. Hmm perhaps to avoid any implication of exclusivity, I should use the goût option.. What do you think? Have a happy day, Dragonboy |
