L'été dernier, je suis allé passer quelques semaines dans un pays anglophone. Certaines personnes m'ont accueillies très gentiment, et j'aimerais beaucoup leur transmettre mes remerciements. J'aimerais avoir de belles lettres, bien écrites ... Je vous remercie d'avance de votre aide ! Myriam

Dear Marion,

It has been already a few months that you accomodated me at your home. I thought of sending a letter, some photographs and a small "gift" for you which made me much think about you.

I benefit from this letter to say to you how much I liked my stay at your home. When people speak to me about my trip in the West, they speak to me especially about Vancouver and Victoria. Me, I always speak to them about Cultus Lake and people so accessible who live over there.

I thus benefit from it to say to you thank you very much for all. I hope to see you soon !

I know that my trip in the West proceeded already a few months ago, but I thought sent this letter and some photographs to you. I did not know Kamloops, and I thank you for having allowed me to know this beautiful city.

I was very touched that you accomodate me at tour home of this manner, and I made a point of thanking you for the bottom of the my heart. Carley spoke (and speaks!) very often about you and I understand better why now!

I hope that we will be able to be re-examined soon. Thank you still for all.

That made already a few months that you accomodated me at your home but I made a point of writing this letter to you to thank yourself. I also benefit from it to send some photographs to you which, I hope that they will point out beautiful memories to you.

We are not to remain a long time in Kelowna but, now, when I go to the SAQ (Company of alcohols of Quebec) and that I see a wine bottle coming from Hill Mission, I always say: "Looks at! I was over there with the father of a friend!". One of my more beautiful memories of the West...
