Laurent Simula is an unknown character at this point

Dear all,
I need to check whether an expression is correctly used in one of my academic articles. I want to say that the middle-skilled workers are the worst-off at the optimal allocation. For this purpose, I want to use the term "curse", which is used in expression like "the winner's curse" in economics. Is is correct to speak of a "curse of the middle-skilled workers"? Here curse means "plague" or great pain. I would be very grateful if you could help me. Sincerely, Laurent Last edited by Laurent Simula; 10-23-2006 at 09:01 PM. |
