Australia is a relatively new country, it officially was born at the time of British colonisation, that is to say two centuries ago.
From its insulation compared to the rest of the world, it never benefited from the economic growth and was made hear recently with the Olympic Games of Sydney in 2000. Australia is the sixth largest country in the world and has a population of 20 million people. It is about the same geographic size as the 48 mainland states of the USA and 50%larger than Europe, but has the lowest population density in the world: only two people per square kilometre. Comparable in size to Great Britain, Colorado or Japan, New Zealand has a population of only 4 million; making it one of the world's least crowded countries. It made up of three islands: North Island, South Island ans Stewart Island. It is a heaven for those seeking peace, rejuvenation and relaxation as well as a playground for thrill seekers and adventurers. New Zealand is a compact country with sweepingly different scenery between the main towns and cities. Getting around is simple, and better still, your choice of routes, activities and accommodation is as wide as the Pacific Ocean horizon. After many survey, it is said that the environment and the climate were the most important features that influenced the backpackers to travel to Australia and New Zealand. The Australian environment is unique. From unspoilt beaches, tropical rainforests, rugged mountain ranges and vast tracts of desert, it is a country of contrasts. With the reverse seasons of the northern hemisphere, Australia enjoys a largely temperate climate. Most of Australia receives more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, or about 70 per cent of the total possible hours. Examples of Australia's natural wonders include the Great Barrier Reef and Kakadu National Park. The Great Barrier Reef is as big as the total combined area of the UK and Ireland, and contains more than 1,000 islands, from sandy bays to rainforest isles. Australia's tropical Top End is a landscape of towering sandstone escarpments that cradle some of Kakadu National Park’s treasures. Australia is also home to fourteen World Heritage listed wilderness areas. New Zealand has a temperate climate with relatively small seasonal variation makes it an ideal year-round holiday destination. Moreover , the “Kiwi land”’s spectacularly beautiful landscape includes vast mountain chains, steaming volcanoes, sweeping coastlines, deeply indented fiords and lush rainforests. desolé pr la longueur merciiiiiiiiiii!!!! ![]() |

Voilà, j'ai regardé ton devoir. Je n'ai pas trouvé beaucoup de fautes, mais je suis française moi aussi...
