Qui pourrit me traduire ceci:

Wednesday, 3 May 2006, day of departure, my first trip in England. After about 4 hours by bus, we arrive to Calais to take a boat, I didn’t expect to see inside boat: real shops, video games and restaurants … Disembarking in Dover and first contacts with England, it left for several hours of bus in the direction of Stratford-upon-Avon. At about 4 pm we arrived, earlier, thus we take advantage of it to visit this town. What surprise most at first is the wealth of this city, we cross sports cars in every corner of streets. The life to Stratford seems peaceful, all the opposite of London which we saw later.

The visit of Edward's King Grammar school was very surprising, indeed it is not here a school classic as we were able to see then, but a school where we teach the dance, the sewing, the theatre, the cinema … The atmosphere is more relaxed even during a period of examinations as it was the case. In spite of works of renovation we have for been even able to report us impressive equipments (computers, movie cameras, buildings) that possess the school.

We had the luck to be able to assisted the first performance of the play Julius Caesar, unluckily a play of 3 hours in English showed to be difficult to understand and thus boring. However staging with the music and the scenes of murder were very spectacular.

The visit of the school was according to me one of visit the most enriching of the journey, indeed we were really able to see the daily of these pupils, and to see the differences with our educational system. What surprises most at first is the uniform, what really transforms the pupils. After a visit of the school made by both "prefects" we had the luck to be introduced into a class of English, where of course the studied on Shakespeare!

Merci d'avance

Jen welcomed us warmly, Sofiane, Simon, Alexandre and myself. Jen's house situated has some miles of the center of strarford, it is a small typical house in bricks. I shared my bedroom with Sofiane the bedroom was small but comfortable, because that we were 4 and that Jen had 2 children (François and Dorothée) as well as 2 dogs and 2 cats, Jen had to sleep on the sofa! In spite of the fact that the children of Jen were of our age we had no contacts with them, nor even with Jen. We ate even not with them. The food was sometimes very special, such as the pudding or still the sandwiches in jam. We never arrived has the hour for the excursions, either is too much early or too late!! However in spite of these little inconveniences, the sojourn in the family was very pleasant and enriching. We learnt a lot on the way to live in England in everyday life.

The beginning of the trip was dedicated to Stratford, the sun was for the meeting what allowed us to appreciate this town. Of more the spare time which was important allowed us to take advantage completely of the life to Stratford. The parties of football against English on the park were very pleasant as well as the shopping. But Stratford being the city of Shakespeare the most interesting were on his life. Thus, we visited 4 properties of Shakespeare and his family.

version francaise:
