Hi NAR
Your translations seem pretty fine, but they are a bit to literal according to me. I mean in a poem or in song lyrics you have to try to find the best saying to fit the idea of the source language, not necessariliy perform a word to word translation. That's why I ended up with "raccrocher les wagons" or any similar typically french expressions. |

Je n'avais pas remarqué qu'il s'agissait de paroles de chansons. C'est vrai que "Je veux aligner/ organiser les morceaux" est un peu trop formel dans ce cas-ci. Il est, de ce fait, préférable d'avoir recours aux expressions typiquement Françaises. Ciao!  |
