En octobre dernier déjà, Virgin Rail et Railtrack avaient déclaré devoir investir plus de 21 milliards de francs pour amener la ligne Glasgow-Londres à sa vitesse optimale.
Ce contrat pourrait-il être le premier d’une série ? Espérons-le, car depuis que la compagnie British Rail avait été privatisée, les commandes de matériels roulant se faisaient rares.
