Recently stumbled across this website and am hoping to make use of its members. : )

I went to a festival, recently, here in Texas, and was interested to hear that a review was posted concerning one of the bands that played there; upon finding the link, however, it turns out said review is in French, and, well, babelfish butchers it a little too much for my tastes.

Anyone willing to help? Here's the text:

"Dans le monde de la com' et des pubards surpayés, c'est ce genre de petit slogan accolé au nom de la marque, creux mais en anglais (ça passe mieux), qui sert à différencier aux yeux des gogos consommateurs des produits pour certains parfaitement identiques.

Bon, là on cause marketing, car côté musique, il n'y a rien à dire de ce énième groupe de pop-rock Us qui utilise ce genre d'artifice (une première ?) pour tenter de masquer une consternante banalité... ils auront tout essayé : sur leur site, ils proposent dans un bel élan patriotique de télécharger une chanson, "The red, white and blue" (avec lien sur fond de drapeau américain) dédiée notamment aux soldats des forces armées - faut dire qu'ils sont Texans... du pop-rock redneck, finalement rassurant d'être aussi mauvais."
