Hey, could anybody please please please help me on this teeny weeny translation??

la taxe de plus-value sur les terrains bétis ou non bétis

I am specifically looking for the translation of the word "bétis" here. . .

i think the world "betis" does not exist in french ! it may be a mistake.
plus-value ---> increase in value, surplus, appreciation

Thanks a lot dear Napolean!!

I believe it is a mistake... I am translating an International Convention from French to English and there seems to be an error in the copy... In all probabilities the word is bâti... It now means Appreciation tax on the built and unbuilt properties..

Thanks a lot for helping me "think out of the box"!!!

yes you are right i think, the signification must be good with 'bâti"!
