Mon stage s’est déroulé à VILLE dans l’entreprise A du 13 Avril au 24 Juin 2005.
Le sujet de ce stage était d’une part le débuggage et l’ajout de fonctionnalités à une application de suivi de production pour les employés de l’îlot 1 sous Excel et d’autre part le transfert ce cette application sous Access.
Les utilisateurs, c’est à dire le personnel de l’îlot 1, situés sous environnement Windows 2000 devaient pouvoir via le logiciel saisir les informations relatives à la production et éditer divers documents (fiche de travail, graphiques…).
Les outils utilisés pour le développement de l’application ont été le langage Microsoft Visual Basic associé au logiciel Excel 2000 et au SGBD Microsoft Access 2000.

Le développement de ce projet a nécessité la mise en place d’un planning de conception.
La première phase, la phase d’analyse, a nécessité plusieurs réunions avec Monsieur b, directeur de l’établissement et Monsieur C, chef de production de l’îlot 1, pour bien cibler les attentes des utilisateurs et pour trouver les méthodes les plus simples afin de répondre à leurs demandes.
Quelques difficultés apparurent ensuite durant les phases de développement mais celle-ci furent pour la plupart surmontées.

L’application Excel est actuellement utilisée depuis un mois et il n’y a pour l’instant plus de problèmes par rapport à la version précédente.
Pour faciliter l’utilisation et la maintenance de cette dernière, deux guides, utilisateur et programmeur ont été rédigés.
Du côté de l’usine et plus particulièrement des ateliers, cet utilitaire est la seule application actuellement disponible qui permet de suivre la production.
Le développement de l’application Access quant à lui est bientôt achevé et j’espère qu’elle pourra être installée au plus tôt.

The training course, I have realised took place in #entreprise## company of ##town### from April 13 to June 25, 2004.
The subject of this training course was first the debuggage and the adding of functionalities to an existing Excel following production application for the employees of the “îlot 1“ and then the transfert of this application into Access.

The users which are the employees of the “îlot 1”, using Windows Professional Edition, should be able to seizure the informations concerning the production and then edit documents (day work, graphics…), using the software.
The tools used for the development were the language Microsoft Visual Basic, the software Excel 2000 and the database Microsoft Access 2000.

The first step, which was the analysis, required several meetings with the Mr B, the director of the company and Mr C, the head of production of the “îlot 1” in order to target the requests of the users and to find the best solution to answer their requirements.

Then some problems appeared during the development but those were majority resolved.
The Excel application is used since one month and there are no more problems in comparison with the older version of the software.
I have written two handbooks, one for the user and the second for the programmers in order to help them.
On the side of the company and more precisely of the workshop, this tool is the only available application which permits to follow the production

I took a training course at #entreprise## company of ##town### from April 13 to June 25, 2004. The aim of this course was first the debugging and functional enhancement of an existing post-production application for the employees of the “îlot 1“ and secondly the migration of this application into Excel and Access.

The users, employees of the “îlot 1”, should be able to retrieve the information concerning the production as well as edit documents (e.g. day work, graphics&#8230), using this software in a Windows Professional Edition environment. The tools used for the development were the Microsoft Visual Basic language , the Excel 2000 software and the Microsoft Access 2000 database.

The first step - the analysis, required several meetings with the Mr. B, the Director of the company and Mr. C, the Head of Production of the “îlot 1” in order to identify user requirements and find the best solution to meet their expectations.

Some problems arose later during the development however most of them were resolved. The Excel-based application had been used for one month and there are no more problems in comparison with the older version.
To facilitate proper usage and maintenance of this software, I have written two handbooks, i.e. a User Manual and a Guide for Programmers.

From the standpoint of the company/factory?? and particularly in the workshops, this tool is the only application available that allows the monitoring of the production process.

The development of the Access application in turn is nearly completed and I hope it will be implemented soon.
