I read the first two volumes and I very like this third book. Becky moves of its country, England, to go to live in New York. Her friend Luke direct an agency of communication and he opens an other company in New York. In the first two books, Becky is a financial journalist but she very likes shopping and she has many debts. She succeeded in refunding its debts by selling its clothing, its shoes, etc and she decides to change her career. She becomes adviser in a big store og clothes in New York, Barney.

Becky and Luke are in New York since 1 year when the book begins. They turn over to England for the wedding of the best friend of Becky and Luke asks to BeckyÈ do you want to get married ?. she accepts. The adventures start!

The mother of Becky is very happy of prepares the wedding of her only daughter. She has many projects and everyone agrees that Becky and Luke will get married in England. On the other hand, when they go back to New York, Becky meets the mother of Luke. The mother of Luke is an artificial woman and very rich person. She grants much importance to appearances. She says to Becky that she held Ritz for the wedding of her son. Becky says to her that she does not want to get married in New York, but at her house, in England.

The mother of Luke makes visit Ritz with Becky to convince her and as Becky likes much the luxury, she very loves Ritz. She thinks that she could marry in New York and decides to speak to her mother about it. Her mother reacts very badly and Becky says to her that it was only one simple idea. However, she does not say to the mother of Luke to cancel the wedding in New York and she don’t ask to her mother to cancel the wedding in England. Therefore, two weddings are in preparation.

Luke believes that they will married in New York and that everyone knows that. Becky does not want to make of sorrow to her parents but dream of the luxury which Ritz offers. She hopes to find a solution.

One day, she decides to go to England for all to acknowledge to her mother, but when she arrives at the house, she sees that her parents have painted, decorating, planting flowers, etc. It is unable to acknowledge the truth to them. Then she decides to go to see her best friend for speak about it, but her friend is pregnant. When Becky sees it, she finds she is radiant and it does not say anything because she does not want to waste its happiness.

They walk in the street when her friend loses her water. They go to the hospital but Suze, the best friend of Becky, sees that it she strange. It obliges she to tell the truth. When Becky acknowledges that two weddings are in preparation, Suze obliges Becky to telephone at the wedding planner to cancel the wedding of New York. Becky does not have the choice, because Suze will be confined and that it to refuse to enter the hospital as long as Becky does not have to telephone. Then it telephones and leaves a message at the wedding planner to cancel the wedding of New York.

This evening there, Suze is confined of a little boy and Becky remains two weeks in England with Suze. When she returns to New York, she speaks a little bit with Luke and she will sleep. When she awakes, ishe listens to a message on its responder of the wedding planner. she does not understand because she has all to cancel. Then it telephones at the agency and it learns that there was an innondation and that nobody heard her message. The two wedding are thus always in preparation. Becky takes its courage with two hands and telephone at the wedding planner for all to cancel. This one teaches her that if it cancels the wedding, she must pay 100 000$.

Becky decides to speak in Luke, but he realizes that it is in an existential crisis. Luke works all the time, but it discovered things on his mother. It opened to a company in New York for impresionner his mother who lives in the United States since many years. He never saw her when he was young. He discovers that his mother never wanted to see him but he always thought that it was fault at the new husband of its mother. It is posed many questions about his life. Becky decides not to speak to him about the weddings.

Finally, Luke learns that his mother never try to see him when he was young. He will see his mother with Becky and announces to her that it refuses that she pays for their wedding and that they will not marry in Plaza. He asks to Becky if that shocks she. Becky is very happy that the things arrange themselves! Luke says that it will pay the fine. Becky is very very happy and she thinks that she is lucky. All is ok. But, after a few days, she sees that Luke is unhappy and not to speak any more with his mother is not the good solution. Moreover, the mother of Luke is very in anger because she wanted that this wedding will be the most important event of the year. Becky decides to go to see her and says to her that if it presents its excuses at Luke, she will convince he its to marry in Plaza. She knows that she will still have a problem, two marriage, but she is ready to do that so that Luke and its mother reconcile themselves

She succeeds and Luke and its mother reconcile themselves. Becky seeks a solution at her problem. She calls her mother and asks to him whether the wedding can be to defer one day. She does not say anything to Luke. She calls one of its customers which is a chairman of a company of aviation and asks to her whether it can have a private jet. She asks at the best friend of Luke to make pretence be a priest. Saturdays of the wedding, they all go in Plaza. The wedding planner does not understand why the families of Becky and Luke are not present and Luke does not understand either. There are only the many relations of his mother, all the high society of New York City. The best friend of Luke makes pretence marry them, but they do not exchange alliances. Becky has the wedding of which it dreamed; beautiful dress, luxates, etc. They make the reception in Plaza, as envisaged. But, towards 10h, she announces to Luke that they are not really married and that they must leave. They take the private jet and leave for England. They arrive Sunday... for their truth wedding. The parents of Becky do not suspect nothing and Becky explains all the situation to Luke. They marry for truth, in front of their families, in the garden of the house of the parents of Becky.

For their honeymoon, they leave to make the turn of the world.
