Hi all
I received a letter from some one in Slovakia, no idea if they are related because I can't translate the letter! Would anybody have any idea what the following would mean?

Ja som si vas dopis precitala u mojej mami Juli.

Som 40.rocna. mam jedneno stna tsrocneho a som rozvedena poslite nam nejake fotky.

Napiste koleo vy mate deti aci ste zenaty dudem velmi rada ked nam.

Also what would the following words mean in English?

nenasla, praca, premna, tazko, vyucena, odcmadzaju, stajou, vyzerate,
budeme, totom, mozme, prosim, stemi, vybavili, predavacka.
I want to thank you in advance for any help any one can give me.

Hello, here the translation:

nenašla=(he/she) didn't find
práca= work
pre mňa=for me
tažko=hardly, with difficulty
vyučená=educated
odchádzajú=they are leaving
stajou= it's not a slovak word...
vyzerate=you seem
budeme=we'll be
tomto=this (locativ case)
môžeme=we can
prosím=please
ste=you are (polite)
mi= short form of I (dativ or locativ case)
vybavili=they arranged (but can have other significations)
predavačka=saleswoman

Thank you so much Miki. You were a big help. I was able to find out that this person I received the letter from is a relative. Her great grandfather Sovari was my great great grandfather. There are some other parts of the letter that I am not sure of, do you mind if I post a few more sentences and could you translate them for me? Again thank you so much for your help.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. Unfortunately I can not always get on the computer when I want to. Thank you for saying you will help me. I need to know what the following says:

Mojna lista vas co najsrdecnejsie pozdrovujeme. Uz som vam raz pisala, tak neviem, ci vam moj dopis medosiel alebo co este raz, vas prosim ze ci by sa nenasla nejaka praca premna u USA. lebo unas je uelmi tazko s pracou.

I am not sure if that is one whole sentence or not. Sometimes the periods are not all that clear.

Poslijte nam nejaky balk z USA a aj mi vam posleme n -a viamoce. "Kozmetiku" co si vy prajete ?? odpiuste mi!!

Este vas ohcem (maybe this is chcem) popposit (or poprosit) ked viete tak PO Slovensky napisat.

Ja by some sla na A.ROK. DO. U.S.A. len cez vas keby stemi vybavivi hocraki pracu some ??? Couldn't make out this word at all.

Also what does pisala, mazme, dopisovat and unas mean?

Again thank you so much for your help. How do you know Slovak? Did you grow up with it or did you decide to learn it? Do you have relatives in Slovakia still, if so where are they from? My relatives were pretty much in the Vojice area and Milhostiv area. I'll be waiting to hear from you. Have a good night.

Scuse me for the delay, here the translations, but it's a little bit hard because of some sentences which aren't absolutely comprehensible. Scuse me too for my awfull English, if you could understand Spanish or French it would be better for me and you

I ask you to find me if possible, some work in the USA. Because by us, it is very difficult to find a work.

I again want to ask you, how you speak Slovak.

Mazme= it's not a slovak word maybe it's "môžeme"=we can or "mazname"=we caress
dopisovať si= keep up a correspondence
u nás= by us

I have already written to you, and I don't know if you received my letter or if I need to send it again. Could you find me a job in the USA, because finding work here is very difficult.

I also want to ask you, how come you know how to write Slovak like this.
