Hello overfinch,
asi mi brnci
What is the context of these three words? Where did you find them? "Asi" can mean many things depending upon context. One of its meanings is "probably". "Mi" is a dative, i.e. meaning "to me". Brnci is Brnca in the locative case. (When you're talking about where something is you need to use the locative case. In Brnca = V Brnci.) Brnca is a commune (a town) in Austria and it's called Fürnitz in German. There is a Snowboards factory there. By googling Fürnitz you can find this for example:

hello Cloelia, thanks for your reply

it's from my Slovak friend, she mostly writes to me in English but occasionally gives me Slovak 'homework' to do ;-)

anyway here is the whole sentence,

'moj sa este snazi, ale ja uz neviem ani sama, ci to stoji za to. viac nie ako ano. stale sa mi sniva s trenerom, asi mi brnci.'

i worked out so far something like this, "mine is still trying but i don't know if it's worth it with him. more no than yes. i still dream about my trainer, 'asi mi brnci' "

hopefully it helps, thanks again, look forward to your reply
