Gravestone text, could someone translate for me?
Text on stone reads as follows(minus accent marks)
YUZUPUI PALIONIU GIME MAHANOIUI 1901 T. 24 MIATUS USMUSTAS MAINOSE 30 BALANLZIO 1925 PRIGULEY PRIE SVENTO YURGIO PARPIOS SZENADORIO PRASOM ATSIMIT USZ YO DUSA A+A If anyone could translate this into english I would appreciate the assistance. Jim |

Grave site
I have spent the day looking in many websites for translations with no luck. I do know that it is some form of Lithuanian. My family came over from there in the late 1800’s and spoke only that language for years. I hope knowing that it is from that long ago that may help someone help me.
Even if someone can identify some of the words that may help too. Jim and Debby |

this is indeed written in Lithuanian, but some words are misspelled. I'll try to help you: YUZUPUI PALIONIU - For Juozapas Palionis (in modern language  )GIME MAHANOIUI 1901 - Was born in 1901, Mahanoiui (unclear place) T. 24 MIATUS - In his 24 USMUSTAS MAINOSE - Was killed in war 30 BALANLZIO 1925 - 30 of April 1925 PRIGULEY PRIE SVENTO YURGIO - Rests in St.George PARPIOS SZENADORIO PRASOM - parish Szenadorio (??) Andrius, I believe I know the translation for the two words you could not get;
MAHANOIUI should mean Mahanoy ( a small town in northeast Pennsylvania), and SZENADORIO is Shehandoah (another small town in NE PA). Both towns have a very large Lithuanian population, they immigrated in the mid to late 1800's to work in the anthracite mines. Thank you again for your help, Jim and Deb |

I also thought that Mahanoy and Szenadorio could be some places in States, but I could hardly ever tested this assumption on my own
