Please help to understand the following paragraph

Die Eheleute xxxund xxxx haben much gemeinsam am 27.08.02 zu einer Beratung aufgesucht. Sie erklärten mir, dass sie beide planten, mit ihrer gemeinsamen Tochter nach India zur Mutter vor Herrn xxx zu fahren und die Tochter dort für einige Monate oder Jahre zu lassen. Frau xxx hat mir auf konkrete nachfrage eindeutig erklärt, dass dies auch ihr Wille sei. Sie selbst bat um diese Bestätigung.

The married couple xxx and xxx visited me in order of a consultance on oct. 27th 2002. They explained to me their planning to travel to India to the mother of Mr. xxx with their common daughter and to leave the daughter there for several months or years. Mrs. xxx explained definately, after being precisely asked, that this is also her will. She herself asked for this confirmation.
