The form of address depends on how formal this letter is supposed to be. I translated it in a very formal style, if you want me to I can translate it more casual.

"Sehr geehrter Herr XY,

dies ist eine automatische Antwort.
Ihre Nachricht (E-mail?) wurde bereits an Johny Till geschickt. Ich werde in Kürze antworten.
Ich wünsche Ihnen noch einen schönen Tag!"

But to make sure: What exactly do you mean with automatic? You truely mean that it's kind of mechanically?
And was the message send to Johny Till oder send up to him? Because send is just "schicken" in German but send up is "weiterleiten" and there's a huge difference in the meaning.
